Luggage allowance and planning with Lumarah
Lumarah Umrah packages include 20kg of checked baggage and 8kg of cabin baggage per person. That is plenty for a typical stay if you pack thoughtfully. Remember that many pilgrims like to bring Zamzam water, dates and gifts home, so leave some space and weight spare for the return flight from Madinah.
Keep anything you need for Ihram, your documents, medication and a change of clothes in your cabin bag, in case your checked bag is delayed. You do not need to pack for every possibility: Makkah and Madinah have plenty of shops selling Ihram, abayas, prayer mats, toiletries and everyday essentials, often close to the hotels around the Haram. It is usually better to travel light and buy anything you have forgotten than to struggle with heavy cases through busy streets.
Message our UK team on WhatsApp at +44 7950 739581 or email lumarahtravelagency@gmail.com for a tailored Umrah quote. Every package includes return flights, hotels in Makkah and Madinah with breakfast, and the Saudi e-visa, and you can add transfers, ziyarat or an Umrah guide as optional extras. Nothing is paid on our website: once you are happy with the quote, you pay by UK bank transfer and we confirm everything in writing.

How much luggage can I take on a Lumarah Umrah package?
Our Umrah packages include 20kg of checked baggage and 8kg of cabin baggage per person. If you need extra, ask us when you request your quote.
Can I bring Zamzam water home to the UK?
Many airlines allow pilgrims to carry Zamzam water in sealed containers, but rules vary by airline and can change. We will advise you on the current policy for your flights.
